Even if I select the Windows Aero theme, it still remains as Windows 7 basic. How do I fix this? Also, hardware acceleration seems to be not turned on and I can't change that in display settings.
compguy96 • 1 yr. ago. With the virtual machine shut down, go to its settings and enable 3D video acceleration. Start the virtual machine and install VirtualBox Guest Additions or VMware Tools (depending on what VM software you're using) Restart the virtual machine and try to set the Aero theme again.
